Passionate Teachers + Cutting-Edge Curriculum. This Is Full-stack.

Lo Agency's flagship program, the Full-Time Software Engineering Immersive, is a 17-week career accelerator.

Through a progressive curriculum and project-based structure, students learn the latest development technologies. The Fullstack Immersive prepares graduates to work as software developers at leading technology companies.

Our JavaScript-driven curriculum immerses you in the latest web technologies like Node.js and React. If you bring energy, curiosity, and commitment, we offer a top-notch school where you'll become a skilled software developer. New courses start every twice a year.

Why take this course?

The goal of this 17-week full-time program is to turn you into a fully operational Full-Stack Web & App Developer. Graduates of this course typically find employment as Junior Developers within a very short time.

What you will need?

  • An open mind, Many of the concepts you will learn will be new and unfamiliar to you. The material we’ll present you with will push you outside your comfort zone. This is natural. Embrace it.
  • A conversational level of English, Our Bootcamp is open to Persian students, and it is in Persian (Mostly). You don’t have to be a native English speaker, but you should know the language well enough to be able to follow a class and do research with your fellow students, without slowing everyone else down.
  • A computer with internet access, Our virtual platform, where you will meet your instructors and study alongside your peers, is online. To join us, you will need a computer or a laptop connected to the Internet, along with speakers/headphones and a microphone.

What you will not need?

  • A mathematical mind, coding is fundamentally about building things, not about numbers or calculations. While it requires a measure of abstract, logical thinking, this is not the same as demanding any special intuition for equations or geometric shapes. Many of our graduates never touched math since high school.
  • A competitive mindset, You are here to learn together with others, not to outdo them. A collaborative, friendly attitude is essential, and your only benchmark for progress should be yourself.

What you'll learn in this course?

You will learn how to create websites and web applications from the ground up. The Bootcamp includes thorough training in both the functionality and interactivity of software, as well as in its final design and presentation, providing you with an all-around range of skills that will make you qualified for work in virtually all fields of web development, hence "Fullstack" in the title.

The focus of this Bootcamp is more practical than theoretical, and we will cover those tools that are most up-to-date and most directly helpful in getting the job done, also with those which are most ‘historically’ important. The final weeks will be dedicated to developing a real-world coding project in teams, in conditions similar to those you might expect to find in a real tech company, with the objective of producing something that you can immediately showcase to prospective employers.

Teaching methods

A Bootcamp is more than just an online course: it’s a full immersion in an interactive learning environment, in which you and other students will be as closely supported as you will be actively challenged.

Learn by doing

Work on concrete projects based on real-life problems. Expand your skills with each new project.

Interactive online seminars

Analyze and interpret data in live, instructor-led seminars alongside your fellow students.

Learn in team

Learn new topics as part of a team, with other fellow students, and learn-by-research environment.

How does it Work?

Our Fullstack coding Bootcamp is divided into 4 phases.

Phase 0, 1 week

Your onboarding week into Lo Agency.

Overview

  • Walk-through over working concepts
  • Getting to know the culture of Lo Agency
  • Getting to know other students
  • Make teams and get to learn the tutors and mentors

Phase 1, 4 weeks

In this part-time phase, all students rise to the same technical level before the start of the full-time immersive.

Overview

  • Part-time, 15-30 hours per week, depending on skill level and topics
  • Regular time assessments
  • Rollings start each Wednesday

Phase 2, 8 weeks

This is one of the most intense phases of the program when you will be working all day, five days a week. You will study:

Frontend development, You will study HTML5 and advanced CSS, and go beyond with modern technologies like React.

Backend development, You will take your JavaScript skills to the back-end, with Node.js and the amazing ecosystem of libraries that have made JavaScript the leader in next-generation backend web engineering. You will master the use of APIs to connect to vast amounts of user data.

Databases, You will master data persistence by researching SQL databases, learning about popular SQL databases like SQLite, and how to integrate these into your applications.

Phase 3, 4 weeks

At this point, you will have a solid understanding of the core technologies taught in the immersive program. It is now time to put that knowledge to use by building fully functional web applications from scratch. You will continue to work five days a week during this phase, while you deepen your knowledge by solving real-world problems and learning best practices.

Guided team project

You will work in a group of 3-4 students to build an e-commerce app and will build all the components of a web application from the ground up – including the front-end, back-end, and database.

Personal Project

You will come up with an idea for a web or mobile application, and build it from scratch. Furthermore, you will take design considerations into account, like user experience and information architecture. Likewise, you'll learn new technologies or libraries in order to complete this project, which will help you "learn how to learn" new areas in software development.

Capstone project

You will work with a team of students to come up with an ambitious idea for an app, and build it out over 2 weeks. This will be the most impressive project in your portfolio and will demonstrate your full understanding of software development and industry best practices.

Pair Programming

During the immersive program, you’ll pair-program with a variety of other students in your cohort. Together, you’ll solve programming challenges and double-check each other’s work. Employers love to see engineers who have ample pair programming experience, which you’ll get as you work through the program.

You will also form meaningful new friendships with your programming partners, which will last a lifetime and create networking opportunities for you in the years ahead.
